This image of a moored sailboat in a marina was a shot I took while I was taking photos of some birds the other day. I shot this with a Conon T6 with a Sigma 150-500 lens at F8. The life preserver stands out against the water nicely. A longer focus changed the depth of field more to the center of the vessel. Effecting the isolation of the subject by blurring the foreground and background elements at the same time. The vibrancy of the opposing colors draws the eye to the subject nicely.
