Seadrift Texas Foggy Afternoon

I spend the afternoon carousing around an old fishing village in Seadrift Texas on a foggy Afternoon. I like these days since it is mostly sunny all the time and I wanted to take advantage of the hazy day to get some shots that I would normally not have the chance to take. I shot these in low light with no flash to capture the mood of the marina. It is a somber place and everyone smiles and waves, though fishermen aren’t normally talkative bunch. No wind off of the gulf was a nice change from the usual 40 or so temperatures as well.

Generally, places like this make me nostalgic for San Luis Obispo Ca. and rock cod fishing in college on the weekends to make some extra cash. That was the toughest job I have ever had.
