We recently took a downtown San Antonio trip and got away for a few days. The mixture of old versus modern architecture styles and the long history of the city itself, are a sight to be found in few places elsewhere. It is a city that doesn’t stray far from it roots. We had a great time looking all over and it really hit me how well the city melded together in a very coherent way as the charm of the environment is not lost in the commercialism of the time in which we live. Sadly the San Antonio Valentines Trip was devoid of the usual site seeing except for the Alamo to which I have never been before.
