Somedays, event photography and the urban crawl are a bit much, and a walk out in the backyard can be a little more relaxing which can result in an image like the Yellow flower stack I made this week. It is a two photo stack of a simple composition. I saw this little flower hiding behind the greenery around it and it seemed like and nice setting. The lack of sunlight due to the overcast sky provided a nice defusion at this time of day as well
I enjoy walking around nature areas with just the RF 35mm F1.8 Macro IS STM and a Tokina AT-X 100MM F/2.8 PRO FX MACRO. Especially in low light nature settings. I took this after about a week of early summer rain. Everything is blooming looking colorful for a change after this dismal winter we have had. Perhaps it is time to do a Macro article. I really do enjoy the diorama compositions that come with these settings. The challenge of lighting macro shots can also be skill building in these scenarios. I supposed a video would not be out of the question. Hmmm.
As always, feel free to contact me regarding Yellow Flower Stack, bookings or any images on this site.
