Vertigo Above the Skyline

Funny how we rarely look up and get vertigo above the skyline most of the time. I like the view from below and it seems natural to follow all the leading lines that architecture offers. These scenes usually leave me light-headed after a minute or two. I always notice an imposing feeling of the world around me reminding me just how small I really am. In the grand scheme of things, we all really are just a speck on the planet.

This photo depicting vertigo above the skyline was shot downtown Oklahoma City. It is the alley north of Main and Robinson behind the old First National building. I love the old look of the architecture of this building. It sort of reminds me of old town San Antonio.
