Graffiti Covered Bridge

This graffiti covered bridge spans the Colorado river at the Arizona/California border. Here is the google map location if you are interested. This shot was taken with a Sigma 150-400mm 4.0 lens on an EOS R with an adapter. Bridges and train trestles have always seemed interesting. A bit nostalgic but, they always seem so full of character though devoid of life. An interesting mix.

We rarely get the opportunity to shoot free style location photography. We always take advantage of it when we can though. Surprisingly, this subject is without the usual profanity that accompanies such things left to themselves over time. The bridge itself it covered with scrawling of local aspiring artists as with any graffiti covered bridge. Sadly I could not make it to the train bridge adjacent to this roadway. It crossed to the north and was fenced off to trespassers.

The animal reserve nearby yielded little in the way of local wildlife either, so it was time for us to move along.
