Lone Survivor

This lone survivor stands out from its brethren form a time not long past. Against all odds, it has won the proverbial race against time with noone left to applaud. How lamentable its timing with noone to see victory but me. I alone, bear witness to the triumph. I have captured it in all its glory.

Pansies generally do well in the cold and many people use them for color spots this time of year.

This photo was taken with the Canon EOS R and an RF 35mm 1.8 lens at 1.8 and 1/50 shutter speed and ISO 1000. The Low light capabilities of the EOS R still amaze me. This would be a tough shot for the T6 Rebel.
