Canadian Geese Flying Tandem
We spotted these Canadian geese flying tandem among a larger group flying low into the harbor area at Lake Hefner. We took this with a Sigma 150-400mm 5.6. An older lens,but it still performs. Visiting Lake Hefner in the evening can produce quite a few opportunities for these types of shots when the geese fly in to settle for the night.
We shot this on an overcast day when the sun was overhead. Not the best of conditions, but when you gotta shoot, you gotta shoot. Canadian geese flying in tandem is a sight we often see, but getting both of the subjects in focus at the same time can be daunting.
